main record

A single 287(g) agreement between ICE and a state or local law enforcement agency, as documented in the Titus Legal Design 287(g) Program Report. One record per agency + program-model combination. The record key (rkey) is a permanent human-readable slug assigned by the publisher (e.g. 'ga-tift-county-so-tfm') and never changes, even if ICE's published agency name is later corrected.

An addendum to the MOA, where ICE has published one.

agencyName string Required

Law enforcement agency name, as corrected/verified by the publisher (may differ from ICE's published spelling).

maxLength: 300 bytes

canceledDate string datetime Optional

Date the agreement was canceled, if status is 'canceled'. Same timezone caveat as signedDate.

canceledDateText string Optional

Canceled date as a plain calendar date, YYYY-MM-DD, with no timezone.

maxLength: 10 bytes

county string Optional

County the agency sits in (for municipal agencies, the county containing the municipality).

maxLength: 200 bytes

createdAt string datetime Required

When this record was first published.

jurisdictionType string Required

Level of government the agency belongs to.

Known values: county, municipality, state

moaDocument ref #document Optional

The signed Memorandum of Agreement PDF, archived as a content-addressed blob. The blob CID cryptographically pins the exact document bytes as retrieved.

model string Required

287(g) program model: jem = Jail Enforcement Model, wso = Warrant Service Officer, tfm = Task Force Model.

Known values: jem, wso, tfm

muniName string Optional

Municipality name, for municipal agencies.

maxLength: 200 bytes

notes string Optional

Publisher's notes on this agreement.

maxLength: 3000 bytes

population integer Optional

Estimated jurisdiction population (U.S. Census Bureau ACS 2024).

minimum: 0

signedDate string datetime Optional

Date the agreement was signed, as midnight UTC. WARNING for consumers: rendering this in a US local timezone displays the PREVIOUS calendar day. Prefer signedDateText for display.

Signed date as a plain calendar date, YYYY-MM-DD, with no timezone. Authoritative for display where this and signedDate appear to disagree.

URL of the publisher's report or dataset this record is derived from.

Current status of the agreement.

An archived source document. The blob's CID is a SHA-256 content hash of the exact bytes retrieved at retrievedAt, providing tamper-evident provenance even if the original is later altered or removed. sourceUrl is optional because documents obtained by FOIA production have no public URL; in that case obtainedVia should say so.
