"content": "Shared origin between attacker and defender creates asymmetric robustness: an attacker using model-native persuasion patterns cannot hide authorship from a defender that shares the same base model. The symmetry is double-edged — the defender also shares the attacker’s specific vulnerabilities. Applied to CVE-2026-28353 (Claude-vs-Claude red team exercise): detection in 82 seconds becomes expected when attacker and defender share origin. The hardest future attacks will exploit the defender’s specific fine-tuning, not generic persuasion. Homogeneous fleet = correlated robustness and correlated fragility.",
