Something the viewer does not want to hear from — a space, a server, or a person. Personal state in the viewer's own settings space (ADR 0017). A mute is a presentation preference, never access control: it hides, and hiding is not gating (Law 1).

createdAt string datetime Required

An RFC 3339 formatted timestamp.

expiresAt string datetime Optional

When the mute lapses. Absent means indefinite.

subject string Required

What is muted: a space AT-URI, a server DID, or an account DID. Also the record key, so muting twice is idempotent.
